职业描述
- 岗位职责:
- Provide 15x8 helpdesk function to all Newegg business units;
- Monitor network/systems/applications for alarms or certain conditions. These include monitoring internal and ecommerce network, server health, backup jobs, virus and patch deployment, etc;
- Analyze problem, perform troubleshooting, communicate to escalate to the appropriate personnel, and track problem through resolution;
- Ensure all trouble incidents are logged into Remedy;
- Provide daily monitoring reports to appropriate server or application owners;
- Provide outage reports on a monthly basis;
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
- 任职要求:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 2 year experience in helpdesk support or technical support;
- Large-scale company or multinational company is perfered;
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Office 2003 in a Windows 2003 Server environment;
- Experience in the use of a call logging software such as Remedy;
- Understanding of basic network technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and WINS;
- Must possess excellent communication skills;
- Preferably MCP certified.
